Senior citizens of 65 or plus are at their very crucial stage of life. It’s another turning point of life and I personally think this is the time when they need help to make sure the rest of their life is stress-free. At this stage, many are at the edge of the retirement and they want to enjoy their life to the fullest. This is the time they need guidance regarding medical care, financial services, insurance services, etc. So this is the opportunity for the agents of insurance services.


They can target or guide them towards this. Because many are unaware of the age at which they should get Medicare help or insurance policies. Agents can inform them about different policies and help them to choose the best plan for them. Since many people after retirement don’t want to sit at home and want to remain active.
A fitness club could be a benefit for them, so we should help them to know the benefits of yoga, swimming, and other physical activities. Some senior people have already used most of the earning before retirement, so they must need a financial planner to plan or manage their expenses or finances to live their life comfortably. So it’s a big opportunity for the financial planners to step in and target seniors turning 65.

In my personal thinking, people at the edge of retirement, the first thing they are planning after retirement is to travel. Traveling could a big relief for stressed life. So travel agents or hospitality agents can reach them and offer them their services. People at this age are free from their duties towards children so they can spend money on traveling. I think it’s the beginning of another journey after retirement. Life does not end here.
